A warm and spiced drink combining the flavors of rooibos tea with rum or punch, perfect for winter evenings. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 dl boiling water- 4 tbsp rum or punch
- 4 rooibos tea bags (or 4 tsp rooibos tea)
- 2 tsp sliced almonds (for the bottom of the glass)
- Small pieces of fig or raisins (for the bottom of the glass)
Instructions:
1. Place 2 tsp of sliced almonds and small pieces of fig or raisins at the bottom of each glass.2. Pour the boiling water over the rooibos tea bags and steep according to package instructions.
3. Add the brewed rooibos tea to the rum or punch and stir well.
4. Pour the glögi into the glasses over the almonds and dried fruits.
5. Serve hot in glögi glasses and enjoy!
