Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 liter red wine
- 200 ml apple juice
- 100 g sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 5-6 cloves
- 2-3 cardamom pods
- 1 orange (sliced)
- 100 ml vodka or rum (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a pot, combine the red wine and apple juice with the spices (cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom). Heat gently for about 20 minutes.
2. Strain the mixture to remove the spices.
3. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
4. Finally, add the vodka or rum and heat the glögi gently, but do not boil.
