A quick and delicious hamburger recipe perfect for a busy day or a weekend treat.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 burgers

Ingredients:

- 500 g ground beef (or a blend)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese (e.g., cheddar)
- Lettuce (e.g., iceberg or arugula)
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- Ketchup and mustard to taste

Instructions:

1. Heat the grill or frying pan over medium heat.
2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, salt, and black pepper.
3. Shape the mixture into four patties.
4. Cook the patties on the grill or pan for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through. Add cheese slices on top of the patties during the last minute to melt.
5. Slice the hamburger buns in half and lightly toast the cut sides on the pan or grill.
6. Assemble the burgers: place lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, red onion, and finally ketchup and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
