Espresso Chocolate Cake

A delicious and moist chocolate cake infused with espresso, perfect for Valentine's Day or any celebration. Preparation Time: 1 hour + 1 hour cooling
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate - 100 g butter
- 2 dl sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 dl crème fraîche
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp espresso powder
- Chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a loaf pan. 2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat.
3. Add sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and stir well.
4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Stir in the crème fraîche until smooth.
6. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and espresso powder. Gradually add this dry mixture to the chocolate mixture, stirring until the batter is smooth.
7. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
8. Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake in the middle of the oven for about 30-35 minutes.
9. Allow the cake to cool at room temperature for at least one hour before slicing.
