Delicious French fries with a unique crispy texture inspired by Kaskiksen's cooking method.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings

Ingredients:

- 1 kg potatoes
- 2 liters water
- 100 ml salt
- 1 liter canola oil for frying
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into evenly sized sticks.
2. Bring the water to a boil in a pot and add the salt.
3. Add the potato sticks to the boiling water and cook for about 5 minutes until they are slightly soft but not fully cooked.
4. Drain the potatoes and let them cool for a moment.
5. Heat the canola oil in a deep frying pan or deep fryer to 180°C (350°F).
6. Fry the potatoes in batches for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
7. Remove the fried potatoes and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Season with freshly ground black pepper.
8. Serve warm with fresh parsley as a garnish.
