This Easy Pasta Pesto is a quick and flavorful dish perfect for a weeknight dinner. The combination of fresh pesto, cherry tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese makes it a delightful meal.
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 200 ml pesto
- 100 ml cherry tomatoes, halved
- 100 ml grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and reserve a little cooking water.
2. In a pot or large bowl, mix the cooked pasta with the pesto. If needed, add a bit of the reserved cooking water to keep the mixture moist.
3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the pasta and gently combine.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Serve the pasta in bowls and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil for garnish.
