A delightful springtime treat perfect for buffets, picnics, and brunches. These flavorful deviled eggs offer a twist with smoked salmon filling.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 10 eggs
Ingredients:
- 10 eggs
- 100 g smoked salmon
- 1 dl mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp capers
- A few sprigs of dill
Instructions:
1. Hard boil the eggs. Rinse them under cold water and peel.
2. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks into a bowl.
3. Dice the smoked salmon into small cubes.
4. In the bowl, mash the egg yolks with a fork and mix in the smoked salmon, mayonnaise, and capers.
5. Remove thick stems from the dill and chop finely. Reserve about a teaspoon for garnish and mix the rest into the yolk mixture.
6. Fill a piping bag with the filling and pipe it back into the egg whites, or use two spoons to scoop the mixture into the halves.
7. Arrange the filled eggs on a serving platter and sprinkle the reserved dill on top for garnish.
