A delicious summer burger recipe combining traditional flavors with the boldness of blue cheese. Preparation time is about 30 minutes, serving size is 4 burgers.
Ingredients:
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 100 g blue cheese
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 lettuce leaf
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- Ketchup and mustard, to taste
Instructions:
1. Shape the ground beef into four patties. Season with salt and black pepper.
2. Heat a grill or frying pan over medium heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
3. Add the blue cheese on top of the patties, cover the pan or grill for a moment to allow the cheese to melt.
4. Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in the pan.
5. Assemble the burgers: place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of the bun, followed by the cheese-covered patty, tomato slices, red onion, and finish with ketchup and mustard.
6. Add the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
