Ingredients:
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g sugar
- 10 g salt
- 20 g fresh yeast
- 250 ml milk
- 100 g butter (softened)
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg (for brushing)
Instructions:
1. Dissolve the fresh yeast in lukewarm milk.
2. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt.
3. Add the yeast mixture, softened butter, and eggs to the flour mixture.
4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
5. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, until it has doubled in size.
6. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and divide it into 8 pieces.
7. Shape each piece into a bun and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
8. Allow the buns to rise for another 30 minutes.
9. Brush the buns with beaten egg.
10. Bake at 200 °C (392 °F) for about 15-20 minutes until they are golden brown.
