Ingredients:
- 4 bratwurst sausages
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley (optional)
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain the pasta and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Peel and finely chop the garlic and onion.
3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until soft.
4. Slice the bratwurst sausages and add them to the skillet. Cook until they are golden brown.
5. Combine the cooked pasta with the bratwurst and onion mixture in the skillet. If needed, add a bit of reserved cooking water to achieve a creamy consistency.
6. Season with salt and black pepper. Mix well.
7. Serve the pasta garnished with parsley and Parmesan cheese, if using.
