Ingredients:
- 200 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 250 g flour
- 1 dl milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
- (Optional: nuts or chocolate chips)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Grease and flour a cake pan.
3. In a mixing bowl, beat the sugar and butter together until light and fluffy.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Stir in the milk and vanilla sugar.
6. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt, then add to the mixture.
7. Mix until smooth and fold in any optional nuts or chocolate chips.
8. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
9. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through.
10. Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy with coffee or tea!
