Apple Pie with Vanilla Cream

A delightful apple pie topped with a light vanilla cream, perfect for dessert. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 100 g margarine
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 egg
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 dl vanilla sauce
- About 6 apples
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, cream the margarine and sugar together until smooth.
2. Add the egg and flour, mixing until a consistent dough forms.
3. Whip the vanilla sauce until fluffy, and gently fold about 1 dl of it into the dough.
4. Press the dough into the bottom and sides of a pie dish.
5. Peel the apples and grate them coarsely.
6. Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon with the grated apples.
7. Spread the apple mixture over the pie crust.
8. Bake the pie at 175°C (350°F) for about 40 minutes.
9. Serve warm with the remaining vanilla cream on the side.
