A rich and decadent chocolate cake that's perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Stir the sugar into the chocolate mixture and let it cool slightly.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add this to the batter, mixing until well combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the cake is set. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or sprinkle with chocolate shavings for decoration.
