A delightful treat to celebrate Independence Day! These torts are the perfect combination of flavor and beautiful decorations. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 12 torts
Ingredients:
- 250 g butter - 1 dl sugar
- 1 dl powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 5 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl milk
- Vanilla sugar to taste
- Black and white mini bows for decoration
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). 2. Beat the softened butter with the sugars (sugar and powdered sugar) until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and baking powder, then add to the batter alternately with the milk.
5. Pour the batter into a greased tart pan and smooth the surface.
6. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the tart is golden brown.
7. Allow the tart to cool before decorating.
8. Decorate the torts with black and white mini bows as desired.
