Ingredients:
- 2 dl pumpkin puree
- 2 dl sugar
- 1 dl buttermilk
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 100 g butter (melted)
- 200 g cream cheese
- 1 dl powdered sugar
- 100 g white chocolate
- Caramel sauce (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. In a bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, sugar, buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter.
3. In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until well combined.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
6. Allow the cake to cool.
7. In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
8. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cake.
9. Melt the white chocolate and drizzle it over the cake.
10. Optionally, drizzle with caramel sauce for extra sweetness.
