Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 150 g black olives, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add sliced olives and cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
4. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet. Toss well to coat the pasta with the olive oil and flavors.
5. Season with salt and black pepper. Add the chopped basil and stir once more.
