Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 200 g fresh strawberries
- Powdered sugar (for decoration)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, then gently fold it into the batter.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the cake is set.
7. Allow the cake to cool for a few minutes before inverting it onto a plate.
8. Decorate the cake with fresh strawberries and a dusting of powdered sugar before serving.
