A delicious black-and-white Christmas treat that combines the flavors of chocolate and vanilla, making it a perfect indulgence for your festive table. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 12 pieces
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 100 g white chocolate
- 100 g dark chocolate
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
3. Beat the room temperature butter and sugar together until fluffy.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, continuing to beat.
5. In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and vanilla sugar.
6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the batter and mix gently.
7. Melt the white chocolate and dark chocolate separately.
8. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Add melted white chocolate on top, then pour the remaining batter over it.
9. Drizzle melted dark chocolate on the surface and swirl gently.
10. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the cake is cooked through.
11. Allow to cool before serving and cut into pieces.
