A delightful and delicious nougat that will melt in your mouth. Perfect as a sweet snack or dessert. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 10 servings
Ingredients:
- 1/2 part sugar
- 1/2 part shelled almonds
Instructions:
1. Take a steel pot (a copper pot is best, but a steel pot will also work) and melt the sugar over low heat.
2. Allow the sugar to caramelize slightly and develop color.
3. Add the shelled almonds to the pot and toast them while stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until they are a beautiful golden brown.
4. Pour the mixture onto parchment paper and let it cool.
5. Be careful, as the sugar is extremely hot.
6. Once the nougat has cooled, crush it to your desired size if necessary.
