Ingredients:
- 200 g butter
- 2 dl sugar
- 4 eggs
- 5 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl milk
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 200 g berries (e.g. blueberries or raspberries)
- Powdered sugar (for decoration)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking pan.
2. Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
4. Add the melted butter to the mixture and mix well.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the batter, alternating with the milk.
6. Gently fold the berries into the batter.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
8. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through.
9. Allow to cool before serving. Dust with powdered sugar for decoration.
