Ingredients:

- 400 g all-purpose flour
- 250 g sugar
- 250 g butter
- 4 eggs
- 2 dl milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 dl heavy cream (for whipping)
- 200 g powdered sugar (for decoration)
- 100 g chocolate (for decoration)
- Edible decorations (e.g., snowflakes, berries)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan).
2. Grease and flour a cake pan.
3. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Sift in the all-purpose flour and baking powder along with the milk and vanilla sugar. Mix until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, until cooked through (test with a toothpick).
7. Allow the cake to cool before decorating.
8. Whip the heavy cream and gently fold in the powdered sugar.
9. Slice the cooled cake into two or three layers and fill with the whipped cream mixture.
10. Decorate the top of the cake with melted chocolate and edible decorations.
