A savory Finnish blood pudding dish, perfect for a hearty meal. Preparation Time: 1 hour (plus 1 hour soaking)
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 tsp salt
- 4 dl rye flour
- 4 dl barley-wheat flour
- 3 dl graham flour
- 2 onions
- Spices: white pepper, oregano, basil to taste
- 5 dl water or beer
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix the water or beer.
2. Gradually whisk in the rye flour, barley-wheat flour, and graham flour until well combined.
3. Finely chop the onions and add them to the mixture.
4. Allow the mixture to rest for about 1 hour to absorb the flavors.
5. Pour the soaked mixture into a greased baking dish lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) until the pudding is set and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
