Serving Size: 2-4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 apples- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups milk (or plant-based alternative)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).2. Rinse and slice the apples. Remove the seeds and place them in a baking dish.
3. Mix the honey and cinnamon into the sliced apples.
4. Bake the apples in the oven for about 30 minutes, until they are soft.
5. Meanwhile, combine the rolled oats and milk in a bowl and mix. Allow to soak overnight in the refrigerator.
6. In the morning, pour the soaked oats into a blender and add sweetener and spices to taste if desired. Blend until smooth.
7. Serve the baked apples warm alongside the oatmeal smoothie.
