- 4 medium potatoes - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh herbs (such as rosemary or thyme) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and wash the potatoes. Cut them into long strips. 2. Boil the potato strips in salted water for about 5 minutes, until slightly softened. Drain and let cool.
3. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (428 degrees Fahrenheit).
4. In a bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
5. Spread the seasoned potato strips evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy. Flip the fries halfway through the cooking time.
7. Serve hot with fresh herbs on top.
