Ingredients:
- 500 g local beef (e.g., ground beef)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 100 ml tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and cucumber for toppings
Instructions:
1. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the chopped onion. Sauté the onion until it becomes soft.
2. Add the crushed garlic and cook for another minute.
3. Add the ground beef to the pan and brown it thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Once the meat is cooked, stir in the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, paprika, and chili powder. Mix well and let it simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
5. Grill the hamburger buns lightly to give them a nice color.
6. Assemble the burgers: place the meat mixture on the bottom of the bun, add lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. Top with the other half of the bun.
