Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
1. Peel and cut the potatoes into long strips. 2. Soak the potato strips in cold water for about 20 minutes to remove excess starch and keep them crispy.
3. Drain the potatoes and dry them thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
4. In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
5. Add the potato strips to the seasoning mixture and toss well to coat all strips evenly.
6. Spread the potatoes evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the fries are golden brown and crispy. Flip the fries halfway through the baking time.
8. Serve warm.
