Delicious and crispy, French fries make a perfect side dish for various meals. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes - 2 tablespoons oil (such as olive oil or canola oil)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel and cut the potatoes into sticks or wedges. 2. Rinse the potatoes in cold water and dry them thoroughly.
3. Place the potatoes in a bowl and add the oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well to coat the potatoes evenly.
4. Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy. Toss the fries halfway through the baking time.
6. Serve warm, optionally with a dipping sauce.
