A refreshing and delicious lingonberry sorbet that serves as a perfect snack or dessert for the holiday table. Made with local ingredients, this sorbet will invigorate your taste buds!Preparation Time: 20 minutes + freezing time
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g lingonberries (fresh or frozen) - 100 g sugar
- 2 dl water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, boil water and sugar until the sugar completely dissolves. Allow the syrup to cool.2. Mix the cooled syrup with the lingonberries, lemon juice, and vanilla sugar.
3. Blend the mixture until smooth using an immersion blender or regular blender.
4. Pour the mixture into a container and place it in the freezer for about 4-6 hours, or until fully frozen.
5. Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes, then lightly whip it with a fork.
6. Serve the sorbet in dessert bowls and enjoy!
