Delicious and easy cheese doughnuts that rise with baking powder. These treats are effortless to prepare, as mixing the dough can be done entirely by machine. Preparation time: 30 minutes
Serving size: 12-15 doughnuts
Ingredients:
- 250 g quark - 1 dl sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 5 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl milk
- 1/2 dl oil
- A pinch of salt
- (For frying: rapeseed oil)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine quark, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and oil. 2. Mix the ingredients well using an electric mixer or stand mixer.
3. Gradually add the all-purpose flour and mix until the dough is smooth.
4. Let the dough rest for about 5-10 minutes.
5. Heat oil in a deep pan.
6. Take small portions of the dough and fry them in the oil until golden brown.
7. Place the doughnuts on paper towels to drain excess oil.
8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
