Lingonberry Ice Cream

A refreshing and creamy dessert made with tart lingonberries, perfect for hot days. Preparation Time: 1 hour (plus freezing time)
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 2-3 dl frozen lingonberries - 4 dl heavy cream
- ½ dl sugar
Instructions:
1. Heat the heavy cream and sugar in a saucepan. Simmer while stirring for about 5 minutes.2. Pour the hot cream mixture over the lingonberries. Mix well and mash the berries to break down their texture.
3. If desired, you can strain the mixture.
4. Pour the mixture into ice cream molds or small disposable cups.
5. Let the mixture chill in the refrigerator for about an hour.
6. Insert ice cream sticks into the set mixture and transfer to the freezer to freeze completely.
