Delicious patties combining beetroot and soy granules, perfect for festive occasions or everyday meals.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g cooked and mashed beetroot
- 150 g soy granules
- 1 dl water
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 dl oats
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tbsp oil (for frying)
Instructions:
1. Soak the soy granules in water for about 10 minutes.
2. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in oil until soft.
3. In a bowl, mix the beetroot puree, soaked soy granules, sautéed onions, oats, salt, black pepper, oregano, and paprika powder until well combined.
4. Shape the mixture into patties.
5. Fry the patties in oil over medium heat until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
6. Serve warm, for example, with pasta and cream sauce.
