Delicious and crispy, French fries make the perfect side dish for a variety of meals. This recipe is easy to prepare and takes just a little time. Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes - 1 liter of oil (for frying)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks or slices. 2. Rinse the potatoes in cold water and dry them thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
3. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to about 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
4. Fry the potatoes in small batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Remove the fries and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil, seasoning with salt immediately.
6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
