Ingredients:

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp gingerbread spice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup syrup

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, gingerbread spice, and salt).
3. In another bowl, combine the milk, oil, egg, and syrup.
4. Mix the wet and dry ingredients together until the batter is smooth.
5. Divide the batter evenly into muffin tins, filling each about 2/3 full.
6. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the muffins rise.
7. Let them cool for a moment before serving.
