This beautiful gingerbread wreath is a perfect decoration for the holiday season. It's easy to make and offers fun for the whole family. You can decorate it as you like!
Preparation Time: 1 hour + baking time
Serving Size: 1 wreath

Ingredients:

- 250 g butter
- 2 dl sugar
- 1 dl syrup
- 1 dl cream
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 8 dl all-purpose flour

Instructions:

1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add sugar, syrup, and cream. Heat the mixture until the sugar dissolves. Allow it to cool.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the spices, baking soda, and salt with the flour.
3. Add the cooled butter mixture to the flour mixture and knead the dough until smooth.
4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
5. Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick.
6. Cut out pieces in the shape of a wreath and make holes at the top if desired.
7. Bake at 175°C (347°F) for about 10-15 minutes, until the gingerbread is golden brown.
8. Allow to cool and decorate as desired.
