Ingredients:
- 250 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 100 ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Colored fondant

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, then add to the butter mixture alternately with the milk. Stir in the vanilla extract.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
