A lovely and stunning pink cake, perfect for celebrations or coffee gatherings.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 12-15 pieces

Ingredients

- 1 dl cream
- 250 g fat (preferably butter, but margarine works)
- 4 dl coarse wheat flour
- 1 tbsp fat
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1-2 tbsp water
- approx. 50 g dark chocolate
- 250 g sugar
- approx. 5 drops red food coloring
- approx. 3 dl powdered sugar
- 3 eggs

Instructions

1. Beat the sugar and fat together in a bowl until fluffy.
2. Mix the dry ingredients (flour and baking powder) together.
3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the whipped sugar-fat mixture, alternating with the cream.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Add water if necessary to achieve the right consistency of the batter.
6. Melt the dark chocolate and stir it into the batter.
7. Add red food coloring to the batter and mix well until the color is uniform.
8. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes or until the cake is done.
9. Allow to cool and sift powdered sugar over the top before serving.
