Delicious mocha square cupcakes, perfect for a sweet snack or serving at parties. Easy to make and topped in muffin tins. Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Serving Size: 6-8 pieces
Ingredients:
- 50 g butter - 1 egg
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 50 ml milk
- 175 g all-purpose flour
Frosting:
- 125 g butter
- 250 g powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 25 ml coffee
Toppings:
- For example, chocolate eggs
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). 2. Melt the butter.
3. Mix the dry ingredients together.
4. Whisk the egg and sugar until fluffy.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients, milk, and melted butter to the egg mixture, mixing gently.
6. Divide the batter into muffin tins.
7. Bake at 175 degrees Celsius for about 15-20 minutes.
8. Allow the cupcakes to cool and prepare the frosting.
9. Whip the room temperature butter until fluffy and add the other frosting ingredients.
10. If desired, place the frosting in a piping bag.
11. Pipe or spread the frosting on top of the cupcakes.
12. Decorate as desired.
