Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g. fusilli or penne)
- 100 g fresh basil
- 50 g pine nuts
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 ml olive oil
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
2. Prepare the pesto: Place the basil, pine nuts, garlic, and Parmesan cheese in a blender. Blend until smooth.
3. Gradually add the olive oil while blending until the pesto is creamy. Season with salt and black pepper.
4. Drain the pasta and mix it with the pesto sauce.
5. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with additional Parmesan cheese on top.
