Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 800 g beef, cubed
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 2 bell peppers, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 2 dl beef broth
- 1 dl red wine (e.g., Carmenere)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the cubed beef and brown it nicely.
2. Add the chopped onions and crushed garlic. Sauté for a moment until the onions are soft.
3. Add the sliced carrots and diced bell peppers. Mix well.
4. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and beef broth. Add the red wine, bay leaves, salt, black pepper, and paprika powder. Stir the ingredients together.
5. Cover the pot with a lid and transfer it to the oven. Let it simmer at 150°C (300°F) for about 2-3 hours until the meat is tender.
6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley, and enjoy with a good glass of red wine.
