A hearty and warming dish perfect for cold winter days, combining beef, Russian pickles, and delicious spices. Preparation Time: 2 hours
Serving Size: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 800 g beef stew meat - 200 g Russian pickles
- 2 tbsp honey
- 500 ml beef broth
- 200 g sour cream
- 100 g blue cheese
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Cut the beef stew meat into cubes. 2. Heat the oil in a large pot and brown the beef cubes thoroughly.
3. Add the beef broth, honey, cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika. Stir well.
4. Let the pot simmer on low heat for about 1.5 hours until the meat is tender.
5. Add the diced Russian pickles and mix.
6. Remove the pot from heat and stir in the sour cream and crumbled blue cheese until smooth.
7. Serve warm, ideally with mashed potatoes.
