A delicious dessert that combines sweet meringues, cherry ice cream, and creamy chocolate, creating the perfect treat.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes + freezing
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 3 large meringue balls
- 1 pint cherry ice cream
- 2 cups heavy cream (whipped)
- 75 g dark chocolate (up to 70%)
- 2 tablespoons strawberry jam
Instructions:
1. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form and set aside.
2. Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Allow it to cool slightly.
3. Crush the meringues into small pieces.
4. In a large bowl, mix the cherry ice cream, whipped cream, melted chocolate, and crushed meringues.
5. Add the strawberry jam and gently fold it in to keep the mixture fluffy.
6. Pour the mixture into a serving dish or individual bowls and place in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
7. Serve the frozen dessert cold and enjoy!
