Delicious mint truffle muffins are the perfect sweet snack that combines chocolate and mint flavors. Easy to make in one bowl! Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 12-15 muffins
Ingredients:
- 150 g melted butter or margarine - 1 ½ dl sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- ¾ dl unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 dl cream or milk
- 1 bar Cloetta Mint Truffle CENTER (milk chocolate with soft mint truffle filling)
For Topping:
- 2 dl whipped cream
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 bar Cloetta Mint Truffle CENTER (milk chocolate with soft mint truffle filling)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine melted butter or margarine, sugar, eggs, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and cream or milk.2. Mix the ingredients until you have a smooth batter.
3. Divide the batter into muffin tins.
4. Press one Cloetta Mint Truffle CENTER chocolate piece into each muffin cup.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 15 minutes.
6. Allow muffins to cool.
7. Whip the cream and flavor with vanilla sugar and sugar. Pipe the whipped cream onto the muffins.
8. Garnish with halved mint chocolate pieces.
