Serving Size: Approximately 20 liters
Ingredients:
- 5 kg pale ale malt
- 1 kg caramel malt
- 50 g hops (e.g., Cascade)
- 1 packet of ale yeast
- 20 liters of water
- 200 g sugar (for bottling)
Instructions:
1. Heat 20 liters of water in a pot to about 70°C.
2. Add the malt to the water and stir well. Let the mixture steep for about 60 minutes.
3. Strain the wort to remove solid parts and transfer the liquid back into the pot.
4. Bring the liquid to a boil and add the hops. Boil for about 60 minutes.
5. Allow the beer to cool to room temperature and transfer it to a fermentation vessel.
6. Add the yeast and seal the vessel tightly. Let it ferment for about 1-2 weeks.
7. Bottle the beer, adding sugar to each bottle. Allow the bottles to ferment for another week.
8. Enjoy the beer with friends!
