Ingredients:

- 200 g sugar
- 150 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 100 ml milk
- A pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, continuing to beat well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt).
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through (test with a skewer).
8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan before serving.
