Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 2 dl sugar
- 1 dl milk
- 1 dl oil
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl potato starch
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 3 dl whipped cream
- 1 dl berries (e.g., strawberries or raspberries)
- 1 dl jam or filling (e.g., strawberry jam)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the milk and oil to the mixture and mix well.
4. Sift in the all-purpose flour, potato starch, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Stir until combined into a smooth batter.
5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
6. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through (test with a skewer).
7. Allow the cake to cool completely before filling.
8. Slice the cooled cake into three layers.
9. Spread jam or filling on the first layer and add berries.
10. Place the second layer on top and repeat the filling process.
11. Cover the cake with whipped cream and decorate as desired.
