A delicious rosemary oil perfect for gifting to friends. It's easy to make and adds flavor to many dishes. Preparation time is about 1 hour, but let it infuse for several days before use. Serves: 1 small jar.
Ingredients:
- 2 dl olive oil
- 5-6 sprigs of fresh rosemary
- 1-2 garlic cloves (optional)
- 1 small glass jar
Instructions:
1. Pour the olive oil into a saucepan and heat it over low heat. Do not bring it to a boil.
2. Add the sprigs of rosemary and garlic cloves to the saucepan. Allow the oil to warm for about 15-20 minutes to infuse the flavors.
3. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
4. Strain the oil into the glass jar, ensuring that the rosemary sprigs and garlic do not enter the jar.
5. Seal the jar tightly and let the oil infuse in a dark, cool place for at least 3-5 days before using.
