Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g pesto
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
2. In a pan, heat a little oil and add the minced garlic. Sauté for a few minutes.
3. Add the pesto to the pan and mix well. Pour in the cream and stir to combine.
4. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix. If the mixture is too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh basil.
