2. Measure and cut the elastic band so that it is about 5 cm shorter than the edge of the fabric.

4. Sew the edges of the fabric to keep them in place.
5. Make a small hole in the folded edge of the fabric and thread the elastic band through using the needle.
6. Pull the elastic band through the fabric and tie the ends together.
7. Finish by sewing the hole shut.
