Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 200 ml cream
- 100 ml pesto
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the crushed garlic and sauté for a few minutes until fragrant.
3. Add the cream and pesto to the skillet. Mix well and heat until the mixture starts to bubble.
4. Add the drained pasta to the sauce and stir well. If the pasta seems too dry, add a little reserved cooking water.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
6. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh basil.
