A delicious and quick dish perfect for any occasion. Preparation time is about 20 minutes. Serves 4.
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or spaghetti)
- 150 g pesto (store-bought or homemade)
- 100 g cherry tomatoes
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. Drain the pasta and reserve a little cooking water.
3. Return the pasta to the pot and add the pesto and olive oil. Mix well.
4. If needed, add a bit of reserved cooking water to keep the mixture moist.
5. Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them to the pasta.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve the pasta in bowls, sprinkling grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil on top.
